Our Frames (a frame is a fence panel that makes up a wall of a kennel or pen)
We build our frames out of full weight galvanized steel water pipe in accordance with ASTM A-120-79.
Welding is a cheaper and easier way to build a frame but welding damages metal!
Welding causes heat damage to the pipe by burning off the protective galvanized coating and leaving it vulnerable to RUST!
The heat of welding also burns the steel itself leaving it brittle and prone to breakage.
Welding also seals the ends of the pipe closed. This locks in moisture from condensation and promotes RUST.
Most companies that weld their frames do paint on a protective zinc paint to cover the weld on the outside of the frame.... But the inside is left unprotected. They cannot paint it with zinc because the weld has sealed it. Sealing also prevents a coating from being put on the inside of the pipe.
Most welded frames rust out from the inside out starting on the bottoms of the pipes and frames where the condensation collects in puddles.

Our Mesh
- We use Hot Dipped Galvanized 11 gauge 2" chain link mesh as our standard mesh
- We hand lace our mesh to the frame with 13 gauge wire so that every point of the perimeter is secured.
- We tie off our lacing wire to leave a space for our frame clamps to clamp against the pipe
Our
Latch
Another problem area for kennels is the latch. They seem to be either secure or easy to open and close, not both at the same time. They also break often. We set out to design a secure latch that is hard to break and easy to close. We came up with our exclusive easy close latch. It did not take much investigation to learn that most latches get broken by People slamming them-not by animals. With this in mind we designed a slam proof latch. It is really quite simple. If you slam it, it will go all the way through. There is never a solid pressure point to allow enough force to break anything.
This design also allows the gate to be opened by swinging in or out-another feature that many professional dog handlers ask for.
Maintenance
- All of our parts can be replaced in the field with a minimal amount of tools.
- Even if a kennel is damaged by bending or breaking of the pipes the Affected pipes can be removed and replaced
- We also sell our clamps to owners of other brands of kennels for repairing them
